Nicole Richie was everything I wanted to be when I was a teen and since getting a sneak peek at what is to come from her Flare magazine cover not a lot has changed. I feel like I can identify with her because we are both blonde and mixed race but unfortunately for me that's about as far as our similarities go.
May the perving commence.

On the red carpet: rihanna
I'll be honest, Rihanna has been annoying me recently. All those semi nude pictures she had been posting on twitter and her pseudo pornographic lyrics and videos are just starting to become a little bit boring in my opinion- but holy hell did she look amazing at the Grammys last night. She was the personification of sex and I (along with the male population of the world) was loving it. Her super slinky dress was a collaborative effort between her and Armani and she looked slammin'. Yes it was kind of hoochy with the low cut top, high cut slit and no back to it, but I thought it was perfect for her and the event. Cold shower anyone?

on the red carpet: emma watson
Emma Watson looked ravishing in red at a Lancome Pre-Bafta event last night. Emma looked the personfication of Valentines day in a flirty lace dress by Valentino and borderline dominatrix stilletos by Christian Louboutin, finishing off the look with a slick of red lipstick and black nail polish. She looked beautiful, and this is coming from someone who loathes the colour red. I love this look on Emma and it seems to be working as a winning formula for the Hogwarts alum as a lot of her most recent red carpet looks have stuck to this silhoutte. I love it, I really do, it is so chic and sexy whilst being age and event appropriate and although Emma doesn't necessarily take many fashion risks with her outfits, her simplicity and the modern way she (or maybe her stylist) puts looks together is always so pretty and polished. Just looking at her makes me wish I had a red hot date for Valentines day- bleak.

on the red carpet: victoria beckham
It is only fitting that Victoria Beckham wore black at tonights British Fashion Awards 2011. After all, doesn't everyone remember the artist formerly known as Posh Spice strutting around in her little black dress in the film 'Spice World'. The fashion designer was celebrated at this evenings ceremony as she won the award for Best Designer Brand. Wearing a dress from her eponymous label VB looks simply stunning. One of my favourite things about Victoria's designs is that the beauty truly is in the simplicity, she takes classic silhouettes and polishes them off with fabulous attention to detail and wonderful tailoring. This dress is no exception, the high necked cowl is elegant and the fitted waist blossoming into all the pleats is so pretty. It is by no means a show stopper of a dress but sometimes something so simple can have such a beautiful impact. Congrats Mrs Beckham, you clearly deserve your prize.

on the red carpet: kristen stewart
The lady is a vamp! I must admit I am not usually her biggest fan, but Bella Swan Kristen Stewart looks amazing at the London premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part 1 this evening. The Twilight superstar took to the white carpet in a spectacular Roberto Cavalli gown cinched in at the waist with an Alexander McQueen belt and finished off with Jimmy Choo's. I cannot fault the look. It is age appropriate, figure appropriate and SO event appropriate could she look more like a vampire? Her hair and make up are perfect for such a high glam dress and the peekaboo sheer of the lower part of the dress is a really sexy touch even if it is only showing of her ankles. But this isn't the dress everyone is talking about. The most highly anticipated dress is Bella's wedding dress designed by Carolina Hererra and kept under wraps until the big reveal when the movie is released on Friday.

on the red carpet: lea michele
Princess Lea looked like a true glamour girl at last nights Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York City. The Glee girl wore a stunning and sparkly Jenny Packham dress. I think her simple make up and care free glossy hair don't distract from the dress at all although I would have liked to have seen a cute clutch or bracelet but I think that is just because I am an accessory fiend. Although variations of this nude glittery dress has been seen on the red carpet on one too many starlets one too many times, I rarely get sick of seeing such a winning combination done the right way. Lea looks truly lovely.

on the red carpet: amanda seyfried
Amanda Seyfried bought more than just a pop of colour at the London premiere of In Time last night. She showed off her killer legs in a H&M blue suit...yes H&M can you believe!? Not only is this fabulous look from the high street but it is also part of H&M's conscious collection which uses sustainable materials. She finished off the look with a H&M shirt and Sergio Rossi black pumps. I think this is a stellar look from head to toe, her glossy mane is just untamed enough to add to the suit rather than distract and the colour of the suit is perfect against her skin tone. I still can't believe it's not designer to be honest...does it come in any other colours I wonder? I want it.

on the red carpet: diane kruger
One of my favourite dressers ever! Diane Kruger has impecable style it helps that she is buddies with Karl Lagerfeld. She looked flawless on Thursday night at the Paris premiere of Special Forces wearing a Chanel jacket and matching mini skirt. The leather trousers underneath the skirt are a touch that very few can pull off, but as always Diane looks sensational. Skirts over trousers were a recurring trend in the Spring/Summer shows but I'm pretty sure this is the closest I will venture into the style. I guess I will just have to live vicariously through Diane.

on the red carpet: amber heard
Guess girl and Hollywood starlet Amber Heard looked sensational at The Rum Diary premiere on Thursday night. This is a seriously show stopping look, very va-va-voom even with her hair up. Elie Saab is a personal favourite of mine and I think that any woman wearing one of his gowns on the red carpet is guarenteed to wow. The sulty red gown paired with the nude heels and elegant up do makes Amber look smokin' hot, something she has become famous for, proving that not all lesbians wear lumberjack shirts.

on the red carpet: crystal renn
Formly 'plus sized' model, Crystal Renn, looked ravishing last night at the opening night of opera season at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC. This is one the first real displays of Crystal's weight loss in a public arena and boy oh boy what a dress to do it in. Her figure is undeniably enviable! I think the dress is by Zac Posen (TBC) but the entire look is flawless. There have been some controversies over Crystal losing all this weight after championing the fuller figure for so long, but I just think if this is what makes her happy then good for her. It would be just as bad for her to force herself to stay big in order to maintain her image just as other models force themselves to stay thin, at least now she is at a happy medium and looking all the more stunning for it.

on the red carpet: beyonce
I have said it before and I will say it again - she is a Goddess. At last nights MTV VMAs Beyonce announced her pregnancy oh so fashionably in an orange Lanvin gown. Last night nearly all the A-List ladies were wearing black or silver, so I am thrilled that B didn't follow the crowd and instead chose this incredible colour. She does have a history of looking too put together on the red carpet, but everything about this look is perfect. I love the relaxed yet glam feel to her side swept hair, and her jewellery compliments her stunning dress and shoes. She looked out of this world beautiful.
Congratulations B x

on the red carpet: anne hathaway
Anne has come a long way from the bushy haired babe in The Princess Diaries. She looked regal and elegant in this Alexander McQueen resort dress this evening at the London premiere for One Day. The old Hollywood hair is perfect with this as it doesn't take away from the simplicity of the dress whilst not adding to the complexity of it. This is not a home run for me though, her stylist (Rachel Zoe) should never have put Anne in these shoes. For me, the shoes look heavy and too day time with the rest of the ensemble and I think a barely there sandal in cream, nude or gold with a really thin strap would have finished this off perfectly. Other than that I have no complaints, she looks marvelous as always and I love the fact that she is having a bit of a McQueen moment recently.Keep up the good work Annie.

on the red carpet: zoe saldana
Zoe Saldana twirled on to the red blue carpet the Teen Choice Awards last night in Los Angeles. The Avatar star wore a bronze Lanvin dress and gold Alexander McQueen shoes and looked fabulous. The images I have seen of Zoe stood still in this dress are far less impressive, infact kind of dull, but as soon as a breeze or any slight movement got into the foil layers of the dress it completely came to life. Zoe looked beautiful and elegant but at the same time managed to capture the youth and playfulness of the event.

killer kloset
Khloe Kardashian has always been my favourite of the reality holy trinity that are the Kardashian sisters and now that I have seen her shoe collection kollection (see what I did there!) I love her even more. I saw these photos a while ago, when Khloe gave Elle magazine a sneak peek into what appears to be a Christian Louboutin museum, however coming across them again today when doing my usual scan of the world wide web allowed me to squeal in awe all over again.
Now, please don't judge me as I know some of you would do the same, but I think I would kill for these. An animal...a whole nation...I kid, I kid.

on the red carpet: olivia palermo
Palermo looked gorgeous as ever at DKNY sunglasses launch on Tuesday night. As a best dressed list regular it is no surprise that Olivia looks effortless working the colour blocking trend on the red carpet. In my opinion Olivia is particularly gifted when it comes to accessorising, she always has incredible bags, shoes and jewellery and every last detail of her look is perfect, I mean look at the stunning berry coloured nail polish she is working. The City villain may be a bit of a bitch but the girl sure has excellent style. Kelly Cutrone recently said in an interview that she wished the final episode of The City had ended with the line "who will kill Olivia?" whoever it may be, I hope they send me her jewellery collection after they do it.

on the red carpet: emma stone
Hot damn Spiderman! Soon to be seen as Gwen Stacey in the Spiderman reboot, Emma Stone was looking beautiful at the New York premiere of Friends with Benefits on Monday. The recently red haired actress paired her new locks with a red and pink colour block skirt and top combo by Giambattista Valli and finished the look off perfectly with nude Louboutins. I am obsessed with this particular colour clash and I am hoping to attempt something similar with my nails (stay tuned for this!). Emma has always had a very cool and individual sense of style ever since her debut in Superbad, but her red carpet choices have really caught my attention recently. She manages to look fashion forward yet cool and effortless at the same time. She's one to watch.

on the red carpet: blake lively
Looking fly Serena!
Blake Lively cannot seem to get it wrong. She has had a string of red carpet hits over the past few months and they just keep getting better. Leo DiCaprio's new slice stepped out in a stunning Marchesa dress and her trademark Louboutin heels for the BAFTA party in Los Angeles as part of Will and Kate's tour of America. It is rare that we see so little of Blake's skin,. let a lone her body, however this loose gown is sublime on her. She looks truly outstanding. If her acting career ever goes down hill it is clear from this look that Blake could have a glittering career in fashion.
Perfection.

on the red carpet: jennifer aniston
Snooze. Jennifer Aniston hit the red carpet in Hollywood last night for the premiere of Horrible Dresses Bosses. America's sweetheart wore a Balenciaga black mini dress and teamed it with black accessories. I'm kind of over this look on Jen, she has done far too many appearances in LBD's and I don't really understand why because it is such a dull look on her. She has a rockin' bod and I really like her new shorter and blonder hair, but she isn't taking any risks when it comes to her fashion choices. Come on Jen, you have a new edgy boyfriend so how about you get a new edgy wardrobe?

on the red carpet: rosie huntington- whitelely
Rosie was looking rosey at a photocall for Transformers: Dark of the Moon in Moscow earlier today. The supermodel turned actress has been having a few leg moments on the red carpet recently and she pulled out all the stops in this fuscia Michael Kors asymmetric dress. She looks smoking hot, seriously. Usually I think she can play up to her sex appeal and sometimes I think that can look tacky on the red carpet. In this dress she manages to look sexy and understated which is hard to do in such a bright colour. This is the personification of hot pink.
